We are a young, international couple living and working in Brussels. Ruth is originally from Spain, while Lode is Belgian.
We’ve travelled around the world with our backpacks and have now settled in the underrated but always fun city of Brussels. We love discovering new places, meeting people, and enjoying everything this city has to offer.
Together with Milou, our lovely cat, we are a happy little family of three.
We have a lovely, bright apartment in Brussels, near the Sainte-Catherine area. It has a wonderful local feel while being right in the heart of the city, surrounded by beautiful old streets, cafés, terraces, restaurants, and plenty of places to enjoy a drink or a good meal.
Our apartment has two bedrooms, one of which is currently used as an office, two bathrooms, and an additional toilet. There is also an open-plan kitchen and a large, comfortable living room.
One of our favourite spots is the cosy terrace, which is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, relaxing in the sun, or having a BBQ during the summer.
The apartment is also very well connected to the rest of Brussels, with bus, tram, and metro stops nearby. We can also provide a bike for you to use during your stay,
If you’re looking to discover Brussels and explore Belgium, our apartment is a great base for your stay. Its central location and excellent public transport connections make it easy to explore the city and take little trips to other parts of the country.
The neighbourhood is surrounded by lovely cafés, bakeries, and local shops, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed morning with a coffee and a good book.
For those who enjoy green spaces, you’ll also have easy access to some of Brussels’ beautiful parks, including Parc Royal, Parc du Cinquantenaire, and Bois de la Cambre.
Our apartment is also perfect for remote workers. We have a dedicated home office that is fully set up for working remotely, so you can comfortably combine work with discovering the city.
And if you’re curious about the European institutions or would like to experience what it’s like to live in the heart of the European capital, Brussels is the perfect place to do so.
The most important thing for us is, that Milou is well taken care of and gets plenty of love and attention while we’re away.
We would also appreciate it if our plants could be watered regularly and the rubbish taken out according to the city’s collection schedule.
Other than that, there’s nothing too demanding, we simply hope you’ll enjoy your stay and feel at home in our apartment!

She is a very sweet and affectionate cat who is always looking for cuddles and is not afraid of strangers.
She likes to have some wet food in the morning and evening, and her bowl of dry food should always be available in case she gets a little snackish during the day.
She only needs a few minutes of your time each day to play and burn off some energy. She also loves spending some time outside on the terrace, enjoying her morning sunbath.
