Is it really free?

Yes — the core marketplace is free, forever. Listing your home, browsing, applying, messaging, and matching never cost anything. To keep the platform running, we may offer a few optional paid add-ons over time, but they're never required to find a sit or a sitter. The exchange itself stays free.

How do you verify sitters?

We use Stripe Identity — the same ID verification banks use. Government ID + live selfie. One-time check, permanent badge. Hosts can also read past reviews, check approved external references, and chat securely before deciding.

Is my exact address ever public?

No. Discovery shows approximate 1km circles on the map. Your full address is shared exclusively with the sitter you accept — never with applicants, browsers, or anyone else.

Can I host and sit from the same account?

Yes — one account, both roles. Switch between hosting and sitting whenever you want. Many of our most active members do both.
