Hi! We’re Katya and Maxim, a couple from Russia and Ukraine currently studying at Rennes 2 University in France. We’ve been together for a year and love discovering new places, meeting people, and experiencing different cultures.
We’re planning to travel during our university holidays and would love to combine our passion for travelling with house-sitting. We’ve already travelled together in the south of France and Italy, and we really enjoy exploring new places at our own pace.
We’re open-minded, friendly, respectful, and tidy. We understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your home in someone else’s hands, and we would treat your home with the same care and respect as our own. We’re also responsible and reliable, and we would be happy to follow your instructions and take good care of your home and pets, if you have any.
For us, house-sitting is a wonderful opportunity to experience everyday life in a new place, connect with local communities, and help homeowners enjoy their time away without worrying about their home.

Experience with pets & homes
Although we’re new to house-sitting, we’re both responsible, trustworthy, and respectful of other people’s homes. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your home and pets in someone else’s care, and we would take this responsibility very seriously.
We both have dogs of our own, who stay with our parents while we’re away on holiday. Having dogs has taught us to be patient, attentive, and aware of animals’ needs and routines. We know how important it is to provide pets with care, affection, and a safe, comfortable environment.
As a couple, we’re tidy, organised, and considerate. We would follow your instructions carefully, keep your home clean and secure, and make sure your pets feel comfortable while you’re away. We’ve already travelled together in the south of France and Italy, so we’re used to adapting to new places and taking responsibility for our plans.
We’d be happy to arrange a video call before the house-sit so we can get to know each other and answer any questions you may have. We would love the opportunity to take care of your home and pets as if they were our own!
