Federica Corigliano

Hi, I’m Federica, an Italian professional moving to Barcelona for a new role in sustainability. I’m excited about starting this new chapter and getting to know the city not just as a visitor, but by becoming part of everyday life there.

I’ve always loved travelling, discovering new places and experiencing different cultures, but I also really value having a home to come back to. That’s one of the reasons housesitting feels like such a natural fit for me: it combines my love for travelling with something I genuinely enjoy — taking care of a home and, especially, animals.

I have a cat of my own, Ragù, who will be staying with my family in Italy while I’m in Barcelona, so I already know how much pets become part of your family. I’ll definitely miss him, and I’d be very happy to have a furry companion to look after while I’m away from home.

I’ve always grown up around animals and have always felt very comfortable taking care of them. Over the years, I’ve had and cared for different pets, so I’m used to understanding their individual personalities, routines and needs.

I currently have my cat Ragù, who is very much part of my family. I’m used to taking care of his daily routine, feeding, keeping his environment clean, giving him attention and, of course, making sure he feels safe and comfortable.

I’ve also had experience with other animals throughout my life, which has taught me that every pet is different and that the most important thing is to respect their routine and personality.

While I’m relatively new to housesitting itself, I’m not new to taking responsibility for someone’s home or caring for animals. I’m tidy, careful and respectful of other people’s spaces, and I would treat your home and pets with the same care and attention I would expect someone to give to my own.
