I'm 19 years old and have recently finished my 12 years of schooling. Before I seal my fate by choosing what to study, I'd love to experience different ways of life while I'm still young.

Travelling around Europe and discovering different countries is my goal at the moment. At the end of the summer, I spent 1.5 months in Canada, where I got to live and work on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had! I met all kinds of people, learned about life on a farm and ranch, and got to experience a completely different way of life on another continent.

That experience was probably what inspired me to look into pet sitting in the first place. I mean, I get the chance to see more of the world while taking care of animals at the same time? I was honestly astonished when I discovered that this kind of arrangement was even possible!

I'm excited about the idea of meeting new people, discovering new places, and making more unforgettable memories along the way.

As mentioned, I spent 1.5 months living and working on a farm in Canada. During that time, I gained experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including horses, cattle, chickens, pigs, sheep, cats, and dogs. When the family went on vacation, I took full responsibility for the animals and the daily tasks on the farm for five days.

I've also grown up with cats, so having animals around has always been a familiar part of my life. Dogs, on the other hand, have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. I've had several opportunities to look after friends' dogs, as well as the dogs on the farm in Canada.

Although my time on the farm wasn't officially a pet-sitting arrangement, I was essentially entrusted with looking after the animals and keeping things running while the family was away. It gave me valuable experience and made me realise how much I enjoy taking care of animals.
