About
We’re a friendly, professional couple from Yorkshire, embracing a new chapter in our lives. Our children have now flown the nest and, having recently said goodbye to our much-loved dog, we’re finding ourselves with a little more freedom to travel and explore.
We both work remotely, which gives us the flexibility to spend time in different places without being tied to one location. I’m a Director of Business Development and Marketing for an Oxford-based company, while my husband is a Sales Executive for The Access Group.
Having shared our lives with a dog, we know just how much pets are part of the family. Although we’re not quite ready to welcome another furry friend of our own, we’d absolutely love the opportunity to care for other people’s pets and enjoy the companionship we’ve been missing.
House sitting feels like a lovely fit for this stage of our lives. We enjoy discovering new places, but we’re equally happy with the simple pleasures of everyday life — a morning walk, a good book, a little sunshine and a cosy evening at home.
We’re considerate, trustworthy and genuinely caring people who understand how important it is to know your home and pets are in safe hands. We’d treat both with the same love, care and respect we’d want for our own.
Experience with pets & homes
Animals have always been a big part of our lives. We previously lived on a smallholding, where we cared for sheep, ducks and chickens, and over the years we’ve also had rabbits, guinea pigs and fish.
Most recently, we shared our home and hearts with our wonderful dog for 15 years, until we sadly lost him recently. He was very much part of our family, and we understand the love, responsibility and commitment that comes with caring for animals throughout their lives, particularly as they grow older.
We’re confident and comfortable around animals of all shapes, sizes and personalities, and genuinely enjoy their company. Having recently lost our own dog, we’re really looking forward to spending time with other people’s much-loved pets, giving them plenty of affection, attention and care while their owners are away.
We know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s hands, and we’d always want you to feel completely reassured that they’re being cared for as if they were our own.
