Hi! My name is Tshepiso, and I am a responsible, caring, and trustworthy person who genuinely loves animals. I have had a passion for animals from a young age and currently care for multiple dogs, which has given me hands-on experience with feeding, routines, and understanding their behaviour.
I am respectful of people’s homes and spaces, and I take pride in keeping everything clean, organised, and secure. I am also very independent and take initiative—I always make sure I understand what is expected so that I can meet and exceed expectations.
In addition to my love for animals, I have experience in customer service and administration, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail. I am someone you can trust to take care of both your pets and your home as if they were my own
Experience with pets & homes
I have several years of house-sitting experience, starting from the age of 15, where I looked after homes and pets for family members while they were away. I have mainly cared for dogs and currently have experience managing multiple dogs at once, including feeding, cleaning, and ensuring they are safe and comfortable.
I am familiar with maintaining daily routines, giving pets attention and companionship, and keeping their environment clean and stress-free. I understand how important consistency is for animals, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully.
In terms of home care, I ensure the house is kept clean, secure, and well-maintained. I am respectful of personal belongings and always make sure everything is in order when the owners return. I am also comfortable handling basic responsibilities such as monitoring the home, keeping things organised, and communicating updates when needed
Why they love housesitting
House sitting is something I genuinely enjoy because it combines two things I care deeply about: helping people and caring for animals. I love being around pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
I am also someone who enjoys responsibility and takes pride in doing a job well. Being trusted with someone’s home and pets is something I take seriously, and I always do my best to give owners peace of mind.
In the future, I hope to work more closely with animals and even open a shelter, so every opportunity to care for pets is meaningful to me. House sitting allows me to gain more experience while doing something I truly enjoy
