Hi! We’re two best friends, 26 and 30, who love travelling, discovering new places and meeting animals along the way. 🐾🌿
We’re travelling together and love experiencing places in a slower, more local way. For us, house sitting is a beautiful combination of things that are really important to us: caring for animals, plants and a home, while discovering a new part of the world.
We both really believe that a home is more than just a place to stay. It’s a space to take care of, to feel comfortable in, and to make feel warm and alive. Wherever we are, we naturally enjoy looking after the little things, whether that means spending time with pets, watering plants, keeping a home nice and cared for, or simply enjoying the feeling of being at home somewhere new. 🏡
We’re caring, respectful and responsible, and we would treat your home and everything in it with genuine attention. We’d love to give your pets company, follow their routines, take care of your plants and make sure your home feels just as loved and looked after while you’re away.
For us, house sitting is a lovely exchange: you can travel knowing that your home, plants and animals are in caring hands, while we get to discover a new place and experience the feeling of having a little home there. ❤️
Experience with pets & homes
A lot of our travels have actually happened this way already, just naturally through friends and family. We both have fairly flexible schedules, so whenever someone we know needs someone to look after their home, pets or plants while they’re away, it often becomes our little reason to pack a bag and go somewhere new.
We really enjoy this way of travelling because we get to live somewhere rather than simply visit. We take care of the place, spend time with the animals, enjoy the plants and little routines of the home, and get to experience a place from a more local perspective.
When we discovered this website, we thought, why not open this little way of travelling to people we haven’t met yet? It feels like a lovely opportunity to discover new places, but also to meet new people and animals along the way. We like the idea that a house sit can start with a simple exchange of trust and perhaps turn into a really nice new connection. 🐾🌿🏡
