About
I’m a reliable and independent person who enjoys travelling, discovering new places and experiencing everyday life somewhere new rather than simply staying in a hotel. As I work remotely most of the time, I have the flexibility to spend longer periods away from home, which makes house sitting a great fit for my life.
I recently lost my beloved dog, who was part of my life for many years. Having shared my everyday life with her, I know how much trust and responsibility comes with leaving a much-loved pet in someone else’s care. I also genuinely miss having a dog around me.
For me, house sitting is therefore a lovely combination: I can discover new places while enjoying the company of animals and giving their owners the reassurance that their home and pets are being looked after with care and respect.
Experience with pets & homes
I have cared for my own dog for many years and also have practical house-sitting experience. On one occasion, I stayed in a friend’s home for three months while they were away, taking care of the house, garden, plants, cats and dogs.
I have also looked after my cousin’s home and pets several times for periods of two to three weeks.
These experiences have taught me how important reliability, routines and respect for someone else’s home are. I am comfortable following detailed instructions, caring for both dogs and cats, looking after plants and gardens, and keeping everything running smoothly while the owners are away.
I am organised, responsible and happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident that your pets and home are well cared for.
