I’m someone who genuinely enjoys travelling, discovering new areas and experiencing different spaces and homes. House sitting appeals to me because it gives me the opportunity to do something different, meet new people and experience beautiful homes and neighbourhoods that I may not otherwise get to see.

I’m also very used to staying in other people’s homes, as I previously worked in live-in care, so I understand the importance of being respectful of someone’s personal space, routines and property. I’m clean, responsible, trustworthy and considerate, and I take pride in leaving a home just as I found it.

I grew up around dogs, including large Rottweilers, so I’ve always been comfortable around animals and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them.

I’ve also had cats of my own and I’m used to feeding them, giving them attention, keeping them comfortable and making sure they’re well looked after. I understand that pets are part of the family, so their wellbeing and routine are important to me.

I’m also aware that sometimes pets may need veterinary attention, and I would take that seriously and make sure they receive the appropriate care if necessary.

My previous experience working in live-in care has also taught me to be responsible, respectful and trustworthy when staying in someone else’s home. I understand the importance of being given someone’s keys and taking care of their property as if it were my own.
