About
Hi! I’m Caroline, 40, from the French Pyrenees. I’m a responsible, caring and reliable person, non-smoker, and a big nature and animal lover. I enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors and tahitian dance.
I’m currently creating my own artisan food business, which gives me some flexibility and allows me to work remotely on part of my project. Housesitting is a lovely opportunity for me to discover new places, enjoy the company of animals and occasionally find a peaceful change of scenery while I work. I’m respectful, tidy and independent, and will always take great care of the home entrusted to me.
Experience with pets & homes
I have always lived with animals and caring for them has been a natural part of my life. My family has had four dogs and four cats over the years, as well as a goldfish and even a few rescued field mice that we cared for!
I have been actively involved in caring for our pets, including cats with health problems who required special attention and care. I am therefore comfortable following specific instructions and paying close attention to an animal's behaviour and wellbeing. I also regularly look after my parents' cat whenever they go away, as well as my brother's dog when needed.
My love of animals also led me to study them: I hold a double Master's degree in Biodiversity Management and Animal Behaviour.
I truly consider pets to be members of the family. I will respect their routines and personalities, give them plenty of attention and affection, and carefully follow any instructions you leave for their care. I will also treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own.
I have also previously stayed in someone else's home through WWOOFing, so I am familiar with the trust and responsibility that come with being welcomed into another person's home.
