I grew up surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Since I was a child, I have been comfortable looking after different kinds of animals and enjoy spending time with them.
Housesitting appeals to me because it combines two things I enjoy: caring for animals and traveling. I like the idea of experiencing a place more like a local rather than as a tourist, getting to know the neighborhood, the daily routines, and the community. At the same time, I can provide homeowners with peace of mind, knowing their pets and home are being well cared for.
Experience with pets & homes
I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had pets, so caring for animals has been part of my daily routine since childhood. Over the years, I have looked after dogs, cats, birds, and other small pets for family members, friends, and neighbors whenever they were away.
Although I am relatively new to formal housesitting, I have plenty of experience taking responsibility for both pets and property. Friends and family regularly trust me with their homes, keys, and animals while they are traveling. I take this responsibility seriously and always make sure pets are well cared for, homes are kept clean and secure, and owners receive updates for peace of mind.
