About

Hi! I’m Haruko, a 26-year-old traveler from Taiwan. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and I’m currently taking some time to travel and explore Europe before starting the next chapter of my life.

I’m a calm, responsible and curious person who genuinely enjoys getting to know people, animals and different ways of life. I’ve always loved animals, and I’ve had a Poodle for the past 12 years, so caring for a pet is a familiar and meaningful part of my life. I also have experience helping with house sitting in Taiwan.

I’m especially drawn to house sitting because it fits the way I like to travel. Rather than constantly moving from one tourist attraction to another, I enjoy slow travel — staying in one place for a while, getting to know the neighborhood, cooking a meal, taking a walk, and experiencing what everyday life feels like there. Having a pet to care for makes that experience even more special.

For me, house sitting is not simply a way to find accommodation. It’s an opportunity to exchange trust, share everyday life, and make a temporary home somewhere new. I would be very happy to care for your pets with patience and affection, while treating your home with the same respect and care I would give my own.

Experience with pets & homes

Your experience with pets & homes

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! 🐾

I currently have a 12-year-old black Poodle, and he is still healthy, happy, and full of personality. I’ve been caring for him throughout his life, so I’m very familiar with the everyday responsibilities of having a pet — feeding, walking, keeping them company, noticing changes in their behavior, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

When I was younger, I also kept fish and insects as pets, so animals have always been a part of my life — even the slightly less conventional ones! 😂

I’ve also had experience helping with house sitting in Taiwan, and I understand that looking after someone’s home is just as important as looking after their pets. I’m tidy, respectful, careful with other people’s belongings, and I’m happy to follow each owner’s routines and instructions.

For me, caring for a pet is not just a responsibility — I genuinely enjoy it. I’m happy to spend time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing, keeping them company, or simply being around when they want some company. 🐶🐱
