I’m a responsible, friendly and organised person with a strong love for animals and a genuine respect for people’s homes. I enjoy having the responsibility of caring for pets, keeping to their routines and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. Housesitting fits my life well because I’m currently flexible with my time and enjoy the quieter, home-based lifestyle that comes with looking after a property and its pets. It also gives me the opportunity to explore different areas while doing something I genuinely enjoy and am good at.
Experience with pets & homes
I have experience caring for pets in their own homes and understand the responsibility that comes with being trusted with someone’s property and animals. I’m comfortable looking after dogs and cats, including elderly pets that need extra patience, attention and a more careful routine. I’m used to providing walks, feeding, companionship and general care while keeping pets comfortable and settled in their familiar environment. I’ve also cared for homes while owners are away, taking responsibility for keeping the property safe, tidy and well looked after. I’m reliable, respectful of other people’s homes and understand the importance of following instructions and keeping owners updated so they can relax knowing their pets and home are in safe hands.
