Hello! My name is Leah, I am 42 y.o., French, and I’m a psychotherapist.
I really enjoy travelling, discovering new places, and experiencing everyday life somewhere new rather than just passing through as a tourist. I especially appreciate calm, natural environments and the feeling of being part of a place for a little while.
I would be very happy to lend a hand while you are away — taking care of your pets, watering plants, looking after your home, doing some grocery shopping, or helping with any small practical tasks that could make things easier for you.
In exchange, I’m simply looking for a peaceful place to stay for a little while. I am independent, respectful, reliable, and I would take care of your home and animals with genuine attention.

Experience with pets & homes
I have quite a bit of informal experience looking after homes, pets, plants, and helping people during longer stays abroad.
When I travel, I usually prefer to stay in one place for a while rather than move quickly from one destination to another, and I have often had the opportunity to stay with local people and help in everyday life.
For example, in Guadalajara, Mexico, I stayed for more than a month and helped take care of three dogs. I fed them, made sure they had fresh water, and also watered the plants in the garden.
In Peru, during a three-week stay, I regularly looked after the plants, which needed particular attention because of the heat.
In Dumaguete, in the Philippines, I stayed with an elderly person and was happy to help with everyday tasks such as grocery shopping and going to the local market.
I have had other similar experiences over the years as well. Travelling has been an important part of my life, and I am used to adapting to different homes, routines, and ways of living.
I am respectful, reliable, and careful with other people’s homes and belongings, and I am always happy to follow specific instructions regarding pets, plants, security, or any other practical needs.
