About
I am Argentine, and two years and five months ago I came to Europe eager to experience new cultures, people, and ways of living. I have led quite a nomadic life, something I enjoy, although it also makes me miss the company of animals very much. Their energy transforms, does good, and brings you back to what is simple. That's why caring for a pet while traveling is a way for me to regain that connection.
I also love spaces and taking care of them. I am an interior designer, and to me, a house is not just a place to stay, but a space that deserves respect, attention, and care. House sitting combines precisely those two things that are part of who I am: taking care of spaces and enjoying the company of animals, all while continuing to explore new places. And whenever I can, I also dance tango, because something Argentine had to survive the journey.
Experience with pets & homes
This would be my first experience pet sitting, although I do have experience house sitting. During a Workaway volunteer stay in Italy, I worked on furniture restoration and, during that time, I was entrusted with a country house to stay in and look after while completing the work. My four-legged daughter, who says "meow", stayed in Argentina with her grandmother when I came to Europe. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest moments of my trip, and ever since, I have deeply missed the company of animals.
