About

We are Nadia and Vito, an Italian couple living in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We are friendly, responsible and respectful people who enjoy travelling, discovering new places and experiencing them from a more local perspective rather than simply as tourists.

We both love animals and appreciate a peaceful, homely environment. We are tidy, considerate and reliable, and we understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable when leaving your home and pets in someone else's care.

We enjoy nature, road trips, photography, music and exploring new places, but we're equally happy spending a quiet evening at home with some four-legged company.

For us, house and pet sitting is a lovely way to combine our love of animals with our passion for travel, while helping someone else enjoy their time away with peace of mind.

Experience with pets & homes

Animals have always been part of our lives — dogs, cats and even a few feathered friends!

We both grew up and lived with pets for many years. Vito had a wonderful Samoyed, Nuvola, while Nadia has shared her life with several dogs, many of them rescued from the streets, including a Chihuahua, Miia, who lived to the amazing age of 18 and a Yorkshire Terrier, Mimì, who reached 17. Over the years, there have also been many cats in our family, especially rescued and stray cats who somehow found their way into our home — and stayed!

Since moving to Edinburgh, we have also been occasional pet sitters for our neighbour. We spend time with her beloved Charlie, a very young and energetic seven-month-old pup, keeping him company and looking after him when needed.

Because we have lived with animals for so much of our lives, we understand that every pet has their own personality, habits and routine. We are comfortable with both young and senior animals and know that caring for them means much more than simply providing food and walks — it means giving them attention, affection, patience and making them feel safe while their humans are away.

We are also very respectful of other people's homes. We understand the trust involved in handing someone your keys and leaving both your home and your animals in their care, and we would always treat them with the same care and respect we would expect for our own.
