My name is Sara and I am Spanish. My profession is Computer Engineer. My love for traveling and my work has always taken me around the world, but a few years ago, I discovered that these trips are even more fulfilling when I can care for animals. I am 51 years old and currently live in New York City. I am highly organized and known for leaving homes in excellent condition—sometimes even better than I found them. I have experience living and working in many different environments and have looked after homes for families of many nationalities, including Americans, Europeans, and Asians. I am respectful of your space and any workers you may have at your property.
I think that animals are happy in their homes while their owners travel; it is good that they maintain their routines and do not feel the loneliness of a canine hotel. I love animals—they are all pure souls and their energy fills the world. I believe they deserve to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment while their family is away.
Experience with pets & homes
I have taken care of a total of 30 dogs in Costa Rica, the USA, Latin America, and Europe, as well as several cats in many homes around the world. I have cared for pets with many names, such as Bilbo, Kunai, Thor, Frida, and Muñeca. My experience is broad and includes puppies, kittens, and senior animals who require extra patience and love. I am experienced in administering medication and am very attentive to a pet's specific energy levels and health needs. I make it a priority to keep owners updated on their pets' well-being. Beyond dogs and cats, I have experience with reptiles, horses, fish, poultry, livestock, birds, and various small pets. Whether it is a short stay or a longer commitment, like the two months I spent caring for a home and three animals in Mexico, I ensure everything runs smoothly.
