Hi! I'm Valentina, a 28-year-old Spanish professional currently travelling around Asia while working remotely on my projects and planning my next move back to Australia.
After several months of travelling, I'm now looking for a quieter and more homely way of experiencing places. I really value having a peaceful space where I can settle into a routine, work from my laptop, cook, exercise and enjoy the company of animals rather than constantly moving between hotels and hostels.
I'm responsible, clean, organised and very respectful of other people's homes. I also genuinely enjoy having my own routine, so housesitting feels like a perfect match for this stage of my life.
For me, it's not simply about finding accommodation — I love the idea of having a temporary home, taking care of it properly and giving someone's pets company and affection while their owners are away.
Experience with pets & homes
I've had experience caring for dogs, cats and birds, so I'm comfortable around different animals and understand that every pet has its own personality, routine and needs.
Although I'm new to formal housesitting, looking after animals is not new to me. I'm comfortable with everyday responsibilities such as feeding, walking dogs, keeping their spaces clean, giving them attention and company, and following the specific routines their owners provide.
I'm a very clean, organised and responsible person, and I understand how much trust it takes to leave both your pets and your home in someone else's hands. I would treat your home with the same care and respect as my own.
As I spend a lot of time working from my laptop, I'm also able to be around the house and keep pets company throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods.
I'm happy to follow detailed instructions and keep you updated with photos, videos and messages while you're away, so you can enjoy your trip knowing your pets and home are in good hands.
