Hi! I’m Victoire, I’m 18 years old and I’m a French-English bilingual animal lover. I have always been surrounded by animals and genuinely enjoy taking care of them and getting to know their personalities. Housesitting fits me really well because I love travelling, discovering new places and spending time with animals. I particularly enjoy longer stays because they allow me to build a bond with the pets and help them feel comfortable while their owners are away.
Experience with pets & homes
I have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses and turtles. I have had my Brittany Spaniel since I was 4 years old, and I also have a male Malamute and a female cat. I take my dogs on daily walks and am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages and energy levels.
I have also independently cared for 4 horses while their owner was away, including feeding, grooming and cleaning. I volunteered with WWF in Italy, where I cared for turtles and their enclosures.
I have also already completed a housesitting stay in England, looking after two Maine Coon cats. I stayed in the owners’ home, followed their instructions and made sure their cats were safe, comfortable and well cared for. This experience made me comfortable with both caring for pets and looking after someone else’s home responsibly.
