We are a 30-year-old Spanish woman, and my 27-year-old Japanese fiancé. We are a calm, responsible and respectful couple who genuinely love animals and enjoy a quiet lifestyle.

We love nature, forests, mountains, small towns and peaceful surroundings, but we also enjoy discovering new cities. We both enjoy reading, hiking, working on our laptops, watching anime and, most importantly, spending time with animals.

For us, housesitting is a wonderful way to travel more slowly and meaningfully. Rather than simply staying in a hotel, we love the idea of caring for a home and giving pets the same love, attention and routine they receive from their owners.

I have loved animals my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs.

I grew up with my own cat, who was part of my family from the time I was a kitten until he passed away at 15 years old. Because I cared for him throughout his entire life, I have experience with cats of different ages, from young and playful cats to senior cats who need extra patience, attention and medication.

I also have experience caring for dogs. My grandmother has elderly dogs, and as she is getting older herself, I regularly help take care of them. I am comfortable with the routines and extra care that senior dogs may need. I also regularly look after my neighbours' dogs in Spain when they are away.

During my time living in the UK, I worked as an au pair and also gained experience caring for pets as part of the households I lived with.

As a couple, we are happy to care for multiple pets and enjoy having animals around us. We understand that every pet has its own personality, routine and needs, and we always take the time to follow the owner's instructions carefully.

We are also very respectful of people's homes. We are tidy, quiet and careful with other people's belongings, and we would treat every home as if it were our own. Our priority is for both the pets and their owners to feel safe and comfortable while they are away.
